About Me
My name is Kateryna Symonenko, Wextorn is my personal space to explore interiors through emotion, curiosity, and everyday life.

I am not an interior designer, an architect, or an industry expert. I do not believe that you need a title to feel deeply connected to the spaces you live in. What I do have is a strong sensitivity to atmosphere, details, and change. I notice how colors affect mood, how light transforms a room, how a single object can make a space feel calmer or more alive. This blog exists because I wanted a place to collect those observations and share them honestly.
I have always been fascinated by transformation. Fashion trends, styling experiments, visual shifts that completely change how something feels. Interiors work the same way for me. Rearranging furniture, trying a new texture, painting a wall a different shade can feel like starting a new chapter without leaving home. I love watching how small decisions create big emotional impact.

Travel is one of my main sources of inspiration. I am drawn to new cultures, local traditions, and the quiet beauty of everyday life in different countries. Traveling changes the way I think, what I notice, and what I value. I pay attention to how people live, how their homes are organized, what feels intentional and what feels spontaneous. Every trip leaves me with new ideas, not only about design, but about comfort, rhythm, and balance.
And yet, after every journey, I feel the same desire to return to a home that welcomes me. A place that feels warm, personal, and grounding. A home that inspires me just as much as a famous landmark or a breathtaking view. I believe our homes should support us emotionally, not impress others. They should be spaces where we can slow down, reset, and feel like ourselves.

Wextorn is where I share what I love, what I am curious about, and what I want to try or have already tried. I write about interiors the way I experience them, through feelings, experiments, mistakes, and small discoveries. Some ideas work perfectly, some do not, and I share both. This blog is not about perfection. It is about creating spaces that grow with you.
I am young, romantic, and constantly evolving. My taste changes, my inspirations shift, and I allow my home to reflect that. I believe interiors can be playful, soft, imperfect, and deeply personal at the same time. You do not need to follow strict rules to create a beautiful space. You only need to listen to yourself.

Through this blog, I want to share the warmth that inspires me to start each day. The quiet joy of morning light, the comfort of familiar textures, the excitement of trying something new. If my words or ideas help you see your home differently, even for a moment, then Wextorn has fulfilled its purpose.
If you are someone who loves interiors but does not want pressure. If you enjoy inspiration without rigid formulas. If you believe that your space should reflect your personality and lifestyle, not trends alone, then you are exactly where you belong.
This is my story, and this is Wextorn.
